Chet Thomas Adkins, age 43, of Rio Grande, died Friday January 15, 1961 at his residence. He was born September 15, 1961 in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Chet is survived by his Mother: Sylvia Juanita Lane Goodnite of Gallipolis; 4 Sisters: Kimberly (Mark) Enz of Cincinnati, Stephanie J. Adkins of Gallipolis, Jenny Walker of Gallipolis, and Abby (Trevor) Ehman of Gallipolis; 8 Nieces and Nephews: Adam Enz, Aaron Mollohan, Jesse Enz, Ashley Walker, Olivia Walker, Savannah Walker, Dru Walker, and Kaden Phoenix.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Monday January 17, 2005 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home, with Steve Cronk officiating. Burial will follow in Reynolds Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 Noon until time of service today.

I am very sorry to hear that Chet past away. I have known him since high school. I worked with him for a short while at SuperAmerica on Second Avenue. I used to talk to him quite often when he was living in town but have lost contact since he moved to Rio. I will miss him.
