Roy E. Northup, age 60, of Gallipolis, died Sunday March 13, 2005 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on December 30, 1944 in Gallipolis to the late Charles Lowell Northup and Ardilia Cantrrell Northup of Bidwell. On March 28, 1971 in Jefferson City, Missouri he married Paulette Malone Northup. He was a Veteran of U.S. Army. He retired from State of Ohio and Gallipolis Developmental Center as a Police Officer. Faithful member of the Apostolic Church and a member of Fraternal Order of Police and NRA.

He survived by his Wife: Paulette Northup of Gallipolis, Mother: Ardilia Cantrell Northup of Bidwell, 2 Sons: Kevin (Angela) Northup of Massillon, OH, Paul Anthony (Dana) Northup of Frankfort, IN, Daughter: Kristina (Anthony) Triona of Jackson, OH, 8 Grandchildren: Courtney and Chase Northup, Alexandra, Bryce, Andrew, and Aden Triona, and Mitchell and Day'dra Northup. Brother and Sisters: Loretta Beaver of Gallipolis, Leota Beaver of Gallipolis, Shirley Beaver of Gallipolis, James Northup of Vinton, Gerald Northup of Vinton, Larry Northup of Green, OH, Richard Northup of Gallipolis, Blake Northup of Gallipolis, Hiram Northup of Bidwell, and Ronnie Northup of Gallipolis.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM March 17, 2005 at the Jackson Apostolic Church 156 South Starr St. with Pastor Anthony Triona, Rev. H.R. Young, and Rev. Larry Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home on Wednesday March 16, 2005 from 4-8 PM. Full Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the Gallia Veterans Organizations.
