Charles Bonice, age 65, of Gallipolis, died Wednesday morning. Born on June 12, 1939 in St. Paul, KY to the late Tiney Bonice and surviving Opal Fields. In addition to his father he was preceded by his wife of 40 years Anna Christina Taylor Bonice and a Brother: Dave Bonice.
He was a Brickmason and a member of Bricklayer Local #5 in Huntington, WV for 40 years.
He is survived by his Mother: Opal Fields of Oak Hill; 3 Children: Larry Bonice of Gallipolis, Sharon (Tim) Thomas of Crown City and Patty (Doug) Combs of Crown City; 9 Grandchildren: Brad, Alisha, and Kelly Bonice, Joshua and Jessica Stollings, T.J. and Shaniah Thomas, Christine and Paul Combs; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Noah Stollings and Brooklyn Combs; 1 Sister: Lu (John) Dawson of Finksburg, MD; 2 Brothers: Carl (Thelma) Bonice of Grand Rapids, MN and Joe (Rose) Bonice of Anniston, AL.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Sunday April 3, 2005 at Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Centerpoint Cemetery in Oak Hill. Friends may call from 5-7 P.M. on Saturday April 2, 2005.
