Helen H. Jamison, age 77, of Gallipolis, went into the arms of the Lord on Saturday evening August 13, 2005 at her residence. Born April 17, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Henry and Naomi Armstrong Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband William L. 'Willie' Jamsion Sr. who she married on June 26, 1954 and who preceded her on June 14, 2005. Also preceding her is 1 brother Charles H. Smith.
Helen graduated from Gallia Academy High School on May 23, 1945. She was a member of Paint Creek Baptist Church and a member of the order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by 8 Children: Robert (Florence) Williams, DeEtta Rice, William L. (Tereasa) Jamison Jr., Bruce H. (Bonita) Jamison, Charles E. (Roberta) Jamison, Sue Ann (Larry) Winston, Lawrencene (Ricky) Miller, and Wanda L. Young Jamison; 31 Grandchildren, and numerous Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister: JoAnn Williams.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday August 19, 2005 at the Paint Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-6:30 P.M. and at the church on Friday one hour prior to services.
