Lester Lee Wells, age 55, of Gallipolis, died Wednesday morning December 28, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Born August 10, 1950 in Gallipolis, he was the son of Kenneth Wells and the late Treva Daniels Wells.

Lester was a self employed truck driver for over 30 years. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam.

He is survived by:

Father: Kenneth (Della) Wells of Chillicothe

Wife: Brenda Cremeens Wells, who he married on August 14, 1972 in Mercerville

Son: Shane (Toni) Wells of South Webster

Brothers and Sisters: Frank Wells of Warner Robbins, GA.

Trina (Bill) Chaffin of Circleville

Sheila (Tim) Malone of Circleville

Tim Wells of Huntington

Todd (Michelle) Wells of Chillicothe

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM. Saturday December 31, 2005 at Ridgelawn Cemetery, with Pastors Jim Chapman and Berkeley Saunders officiating. Friends may call at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home on Friday from 6-9 PM.

Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the Gallia County Veterans Organizations.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Judes Children's research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105
