Hattie Elizabeth Phillips, age 90, of Crown City, passed away Sunday February 26, 2006 at Holzer Senior Care Center. Born April 21, 1915 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Money Huff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by an infant son, Merrill Loren Phillips, by 3 son in laws, Jim Sibley, Joe Hanna, and Chuck McDonald, and by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Hattie was a homemaker.

19 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren, and 15 Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM. Wednesday March 1, 2006 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Walter Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-9 PM.
Pallbearers will be: Brian, Dustin, and Scott Lewis, Michael, Larry and Bobby Joe Phillips.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: David Mooney and Roy Phillips.
