'Beyond The Shadow, Jesus Is There'
Mary E. Eblin Garlic passed away on Friday March 19, 2006 at Holzer Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Bertie and Lesta Lanthorne Eblin. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Max Garlic, a son Phillip Garlic, three sisters, and 2 brothers. Previously employed at the Sylvania Plant, she then worked for the Pike County Schools, after returning to Gallia County, she woarked for the Gallia County Schools, at Clay Elementary School, and finally at the Gallia County Children's Home. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by: Daughter: Ronda (Jim) Coons of Zanesville, Indiana; 3 Grandchildren: Cynthia Oldacre of Chillicothe, Rochelle (Phil) Dobbins of Porter, and Timothy Conwell of Crown City; 4 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Olive Ashworth of Marion, Ohio and Agnes Henderson of Gallipolis; 1 Brother: Glenn Eblin of Gallipolis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday March 19, 2006 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service.
