Still miss you deeply John. Truly sorry we didn't spend more time together while you were with us. Perhaps we'll make it up someday in the great beyond. No one can have such a presence without leaving a void. Your energy and charisma, your poetry and song, your love for your fellow man filled every space in which you were present. As much as we miss you John, I'm sure all of God's angels are thrilled to have you. God bless you John Epling! - Brian

Hello Martha, Just learned of John's passing this week. Ironically, from Gary Kindell, whose father Norris joined John in Heaven just this past Sunday. I loved your husband John dearly, and am deeply saddened that I hadn't taken time out to see him this past year. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you in this time of loss. I will forever cherish the memories of my time with John, and pray to reunite with the man at some point in the promised eternity that awaits all believers. All my best to you Martha.

To Martha and the Girls...you have my sincerest sympathy. Wish I had known; I would have been there with you. Mom just told me today when the Gallipolis Daily Tribune came out... John was a great guy and he's having a great reunion...I can't wish him back given his condition. I have many fond memories of John and the Epling family during my college years at Rio and since. Again, my deepest sympathy! Love, Diana

We have lost a great friend in Jesus. May you all take comfort in knowing that he is conversing with the angels.. and those friends who are with him... I will always remember him from the times our paths met and we walked together through those parts of our lives.
