Tony C. Armstrong, age 42, of Gallipolis, died Monday April 10, 2006 at Holzer Medical Center. Born December 29, 1963 in Gallipolis. Tony was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School, and was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by:

Father: William (Kathy) Armstrong of Gallipolis

Mother: Imogene Galliamore Armstrong Borden of Gallipolis

Former Wife: Kathie Armstrong of Pt. Pleasant

Children: Jordan Anthony Armstrong of Pt. Pleasant

Tanisha Renea Armstrong of Pt. Pleasant

Teresa Byrd Armstrong of KY.

Grandchild: Daryle’ Byrd of KY.

Brothers and Sisters: Tina (Arnold) Cooper of Gallipolis

Terry Armstrong (David) Payne of Gallipolis

Tanya Lewis of Gallipolis

Twana Fisher of Ironton

Bruce Galliamore of Oak Hill

Billy (Heidi) Armstrong of Gallipolis

Grandmother: Aurilla McWhorter of Springfield

Former Father and Mother in law: David and Kathy Selby of Pt. Pleasant.

2 Uncles, 4 Aunts, several Nieces and Nephews, and a multitude of relatives and friends.

He was preceded by a brother, William E. ‘Big John’ Armstrong.

Funeral services will be 1:30 PM. Friday April 14, 2006 at The Living Water Church, with Pastor Dan Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Blackfork.

Friends may call at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral Home on Thursday from 6-9 PM.

Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the Gallia County Veterans Funeral Detail.

Pallbearers will be: James Griffin, Phillip King, Jonathan McCabe, Cory Armstrong, Kenny Cofer, Deanie Wilson, Danny Mitchell,

Aunt Imogene I am sorry for your lost. I am was not able to make the services I have been on medical leave and I just went back to work. I will bring Mom (Mattie) down to see you soon for a visit. I love and miss everyone. Tam

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers, we are sorry for your loss. I remember Tony and Big john when they were in little league with my brothers and they use to come out to my parents house to stay over night. They enjoyed baseball so much.
