Charles Miller, age 78 of Zanesville, and formerly of Gallipolis, died Thursday April 13, 2006 at Genesis Extended Care Center in Zanesville. Born March 12, 1928 in Wayne, WV. He was the son of the late Thomas Miller and the late Alma Salmons Wood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife Geneva Dewitt Francis Miller and by a son Daniel Miller.
Charles was a United States Army Veteran, and a retired welder.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Monday April 17, 2006 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Gallia Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to services.
Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the Gallia County Veterans Funeral Detail.
