Richard B. 'Dick' Leasure, age 88, of Middletown, died Tuesday May 30, 2006 at the Middletown Regional Hospital. Born April 28, 1918 in Ross County, Ohio. He was the son of the late Fred C. and Grace M. Marzluff Leasure. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a son, Richard Allan Leasure, and by a sister Emma Crouthers.

Dick was a United States Army Air Corp Veteran having served during World War II. He worked as an Electronic Engineer for the United States Air Force, and was a manager in the aeronautical division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base when he retired. He was a member of the Middletown Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by: Wife: Jane Eloise Rothgeb Leasure of Middletown; Daughter: Ann L. Spicer of Centeville; Grandson: Glenn Spicer of Centerville.

Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday June 3, 2006 at Gravel Hill Cemetery. Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the graveside by the Gallia County Veterans Funeral Detail. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Centerville, or to the American Cancer Society, or to the American Heart Association. Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home in Gallipolis is in charge of arrangements.

I was saddened to hear of the death of Dick. I met him and Jane at the Gallia County Historical Society . He was such an interesting person to speak with. I shall remember our conversation. Know that I am thinking about your family. Cheryl
