Mildred Marguerite Johnson Gothard, age 92, of Gallipolis, died Sunday October 8, 2006 at Holzer Senior Care Center. Born April 23, 1914 in Sybene, Lawrence County, OH. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mora Braley Walters. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her first Husband Forrest ‘Runt’ Johnson, by her second Husband, Fred Gothard, by a son Forrest Wayne Johnson, by 2 Brothers, Oak, and Kenneth Walters, and by a Sister, Lucille Lemon Brown.

Marguerite was an Avon Representative for over forty years.

She is survived by:

4 Daughters: Mary Lou Fellure of Gallipolis

Bette Meadows of Crown City

Donna Sims of Alamo, TX.

Wanda Ledinski of Columbus

10 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren

2 Sisters: Helen Sheets of Crown City

Nellie Waugh of Gallipolis

Special Friends: Charles and Helen Plymale of Gallipolis

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM. Wednesday October 11, 2006 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral on Tuesday (today) from 4-8 PM.

I will always remember your mother when I think of the CEDAR ST. Market. She was always so nice to me as a child. She was also on my son's paper route.. so We will rmember her.

Dear Johnson girl's , I was sadden to see of Maguerite's passing , I will always remember the good times we had at your parent's home as kid's growing up on Teens Run road and the times your parent's took us places in the big flat bed truck .Sorry I won't be able to come to the services, but all of you will be in my caring thought's and prayers .In His Love ,Peggy Fisher
