Robert E. Burns, age 77 of Gallipolis, died Thursday morning November 23, 2006 at his residence. Born February 7, 1929 in Gallia County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Gladys Sigler Burns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife Luella Blanche Adkins Burns who he married on June 19, 1948, by 2 brothers, William and Clarence Burns Jr. and by a sister, Wilma Sayre.
He owned and operated Robert Burns Roofing and Spouting Co. for many years.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Monday November 27, 2006 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral Home. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to services.
