Eileen W. Lowder, age 85, of Gallipolis, died Saturday November 25, 2006 at Arbors at Gallipolis. Born November 25, 1921 in Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late Nevin H. and Lenora Root Wood. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband William Clifford Lowder, and 1 brother Thomas Eugene Wood, and by 1 sister Joan Miller, and by 2 infant sisters.
Eileen was a clerk for the Doolittle Drug Store and Price and Sons Drug Store. She was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by:

7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild
Brother: Harland (Juanita) Wood of Bidwell
Sister: Helen Lowder of Kettering, Ohio
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday November 29, 2006 at the Chapel Hill Church of Christ with Evangalist Danny Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Pine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to services.
