
Willis Fannin, age 89, of Denton, Ky., died Sunday evening at Kings Daughters Medical Center, following a sudden illness.
Mr. Fannin was born July 4th, 1913, at Norton Branch in Carter County, Ky., a son of the late Foster and Ossie Ola Floyd Fannin.
He was a Coal Miner with Carbon Fuel in West Virginia, a member of United Mine Workers Local #7626 and was a member of the Hitchins Freewill Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Ina Belle Fannin in 1995; a grandchild, Kelsey DeHart; 2 brothers, Clifford Fannin and Charley Fannin; 2 sisters, Sadie Marshall and Nola Wilburn.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Keith Hill, minister. Burial will be in the Fannin Family Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-9 at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.timeformemory.com/malone.
