Clara Prichard Clark, 97, of Grayson, Ky., died Sunday, March 9, in Carter Nursing and Rehab Center in Grayson.

She was born June 17, 1905, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late John and Helen Carroll Prichard.

She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Grayson for over 50 years.

She worked for Cova Baker at Baker's Department Store, for Jim Rupert at Rupert's Department Store and for Edith Davis at Tots and Teens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ora Clark; their daughter, Pauline, and Pauline's husband, Harold Carper. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Lewis Prichard; and three sisters, Ivy Cassity, Addie Adkins and Minnie Stamper.

Her survivors include a sister, Virginia Cassity of Muncie, Ind.

She leaves several nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Lewis Davis and Phil LeMaster, ministers. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
