June Kees Adkins Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1931 - 2003 June Kees Adkins, age 71, of Ashland, formerly of Grayson, died Monday morning in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.She was born June 27, 1931, at Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Raymond and Ursel Gollihue Kees.She was a homemaker and was of the Christian Faith. In addition to her parents, a brother, Herman Kees, preceded her in death.Her survivors include: 2 daughters: Karen “Susie” Sizemore Ironton, OH Janet (& Harold) Whitt Franklin Furnace, OH 3 sons: Roger Dale (& Jean) Adkins Ashland, KY Ronald Dean (& Mary Berry) Adkins Rush, KY Russell Dwane (& Libby) Adkins Westwood, KY 8 grandchildren: Roy David Adkins Lisa Sizemore Ray Whitt Greg Whitt Jason Adkins Tyler Adkins Lindsay Adkins Ashley Synder 3 great-grandchildren: Haleigh, Sara and Gavin 3 sisters: Maxine Stone Rush, KY Ida Mae Triplett Grayson, KY Ruth Stone Summitt, KY 1 brother: William Henry Kees Davys Run, KY Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home, with Ralph Hester and Thomas King, ministers. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-9 at the funeral home. Condolences can be made to the family at www.timeformemory.com/malone

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. We have so many fond memories of June. She was a great care-giver to our children when they were babies. I also remember many wonderful senior adult trips with her at FBC Ashland. We will continue to pray for you during this time. And we will keep June alive in our thoughts and memories.
