Osborne “Bud” Kouns, 95, of Grayson died Tuesday in Boyd Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born January 11, 1908 in Carter Co., a son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Lucreita Riffe Kouns. He was a member of the Gobel Memorial Methodist Church and a retired Farmer. Preceding him in death were 3 sons, Roy Daniel Kouns, Osborne “Tom” Kouns and Jackie Lewis Kouns; and 3 daughters, Helen Frances Kouns, Sylvia Louise Kouns and Phyllis Plina Baker; four grandchildren Jeff Kouns, Brian Kouns, Johnathan Glancy, and Kimberly Baker. His survivors include:7 sons:Charles Franklin Kouns,David Lane Kouns,Robert Michael Kouns, Roy Joseph Kouns, Delmar Kouns, Billy Lowell Kouns,all of Grayson, KY, and Johnny Ray Kouns of Inez KY;5daughters: Lillian Glancy, Eunice Clark, Rebecca Sue Collier, all of Grayson, KY, Debra Ann Coldiron Rush, KY, Judy Blanch Shelton, Florence, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday 1:00p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home by the ministers John Dean, Tim York, and David Collier. Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens.
