laura,
when I heard the news about your mom I was very sad we all loved your mother very much but it wasn't until today that I found this condolence page for her when I was writing on my brothers page. I wanted to tell you how sorry I was when I saw you today but I know that sometimes I wish that people would not bring it up. But I did think I would let you know I think about you often and pray for you and kelli-jo, I wish that words would make the sorrow and grief less but they don't may God bless each of you with the ray of light with which he had blessed your mother, she was a wonderful woman and I know she is dearly missed.

Patty Scott was a special angel on this earth. Her heart and arms were always open for anyone and everyone in their time of need. I met Patty through my daughter, many years ago. She helped us cope with and begin healing from the hit and run death of my 6 year old niece. Every minute spent with Patty brought some new challenge or new idea for the next project. Patty had a contageous smile. She brought warmth and caring into any room or conversation. Patty will be missed not only in Grayson, nor just the county, but by anyone in the whole state of Kentucky that knows anything about the MADD-SADD ORGANIZATION. God Bless you all.

Although I hadn't known Patty for many years, she still left a big impression on my life. She got me involved with SADD, and throughout high school I remained very active in SADD activities. I got to know Patty very well, and my heart aches to know that our community has lost such a great person. She will always be remembered as the outstanding person that she was, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. I will miss her greatly. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Our sympathies go out to all who will miss Patty. She was indeed a special person. Being a cousin and only knowing Patty through reunions, phone calls, and letters didn't really do justice to either of us. God gave Patty the opportunity for purpose in her life, she took that purpose and made the most of it. She, through sometimes unfortunate circumstance, became what she was meant to be. She saw her light. She lived her life with caring and cause. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her, as well as others she affected in indirect ways. I will miss Patty, she was indeed a very special person. I feel fortunate to have had her friendship. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends.

Patty was such a fun and loving person. I got to know her through her helping the kids in KJHS at East Carter Middle School and ECHS. She wanted so badly for the kids to show their talents when doing skits for KJHS. And she got all the kids to show what talents they do have. She was devoted to everything she did. We were at Frankfort this past March when Kelli Jo won on her skit performance,Patty was happy when she won I will never forget the look on her face, she was so proud of her children. My heart goes out to all her family and friends that loved her. She will be sadly missed. Kim and Casey Jones

Lucille, Cookie, Dianna,
I am very sorry for your loss, but I want you to know that when I think of Patty, it makes me smile. She was a wonderful person and every time I saw her she was the same. Constant in service and happiness. She dealt with obstacles in her life with courage and faith; now she is with her Lord and her reward. I will miss knowing she is in this world but have faith that I will see her in the next.
Love in Christ,
Renata

Patty was a very special individual. Being a first year teacher at Star, I was very apprehensive and Patty made it a point to ask how things were going and offer a smile each day to make me feel more at ease in my new situation. Watching the way she interacted with the children has taught me to be a better teacher. She always gave so much of herself in order to make things better for others. The example that Patty set will help all who knew her to try to be better people. Her strong faith in God was always evident and I know that Patty is in a better place.
