Its been a year that you have been gone and it just dont seem real. I was looking over the softball pictures, and remembering the softball days. You always seemed to be such a great friend to me. I was usually the littlest or youngest, and you always seemed to talk to me. I am so grateful that God let us talk and become friends. Debbie and family I know this is really still hard on you, which it will be for a while..but you guys know if you need me I am always here by your side. I am here to give you a hug when you need one, or just do anything for you guys that you might need done. I love you guys and you know how to get ahold of me. Take care and keep looking to God during this trying time.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family as I know yours are with us too. Let's do all we can do to make the best of the time we have left here. We are still so truly blessed to have so many family and friends who need and love us. Thank you Jeremy you are such a wonderful young man and so I want you to try really hard to hold on to that soft heart of yours. Your presence itself sends a comfort to those around you. I know your parents are very proud and they have every right to be. Debbie and Jim, Thank you for everything. You are very strong to be able to support others in your time of grief and for efforts just like the ones expressed to us you will continue to be strengthened. Let's do all we can to make Jason and Amanda proud of us when we see them again. Don't think for one moment that they don't know what's going on with their families. It is truly my belief that God allows those who have stepped over to guard those they loved the most. I also believe that He lets their spirit accompany us at times. Remember, "I will never leave nor forsake you.", and He doesn't. We love you and will always remember the kindness you've shown. Merry Christmas. Love and Prayers. Mary Bush

I was in shock when I heard the news. I didn't think that Amanda could be gone. We laughed together, she took care of me when I was convulsing, and we hung out together. I love her dearly and I can't believe that I won't be able to talk to her again. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends.

To everyone that knew Amanda, you would know how greatly she is missed. She was and still is my all time best friend. I was her roommate at Pikeville College. Not a day goes by that I don't see that smile. All our wonderful memories lie in my heart. Our crazy dancing, our awful singing, our laughter and our tears was the best time of my life. I have never met anyone no better than my angel Amanda. Debbie, Jim and Jeremy, she had a part of each of you in her. Her stubbern attitude, her smile and her thoughts. And thanks to you Jeremy, she could beat me up. You all took me in as family, and I offer you anything that I have during this time. Amanda was my sister, my best friend, and now she is my angel. I will always love her and miss her with everything in me. I love you all!

Amanda was my first Pikeville College friend. She was the greatest person and would do absolutely anything for anyone at any time. The memories that we made together will always stick with me.. she was one of my best friends during the short time that I knew her. I didn't know about her accident until today or I would have been at the funeral... it breaks my heart to not be able to see her this fall. So many things happen in this life that is unbearable and this just happens to be one of them. Her smile and laughter will remain with me always. I love her and will always miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you, God Bless you...and I know that you don't know me.. but if you need anything feel free to email me...i'd do anything for the girl who did do everything she could for me. I welcomed her into my home on Thanksgiving and my mother loved her.. we both send our condolences to your family. Charlotte and Kandi Zadel.

I am a student of Pikeville College and got to know Amanda by living only two doors down. Although I only got to know her for a short time I have to say she was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. You never saw Amanda without a big smile on her face or laughing hysterically. She was a good friend and would do anything to help. She will be greatly missed by the PC group and the Page Hall residents. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and her family will be in my prayers always. We miss you and love you Amanda

Jim and Debbie, How very sorry I am that you have had to experience the loss of a child. Elizabeth and I were just talking about Amanda a few days ago. Elizabeth played softball with her and I used to have her in class when I was a substitute school teacher at ECHS. I just lost my dad 9 weeks ago and sometimes it feels unbearable. Please know that your classmates have not forgotten you and we are praying for you both. May god be with both in your hour of need. Call if you need anything. Elizabeth, Meredith and Kathy Lewis
