Ruth  MobleyRuth B. Mobley, age 88, of Grayson, KY, died Thursday, July 31st, 2003, in Kings Daughters Medical Center.

She was born January 21, 1915, at Grahn, KY, a daughter of the late Abraham and Annie Elizabeth Renfroe Bledsoe.

She was a retired Carter County School Teacher, where she had taught in the Grahn School, she was a retired Bookkeeper from Reynolds Aluminum in Richmond, VA, a graduate from Morehead State Teachers College, where she was a member of the Basketball team.

Mrs. Mobley was a member of the O.E.S. Chapter #10, a member of the Rolling Hills Homemakers Club and the Grayson Mixed Bowling League. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Grayson, a former Sunday School Teacher at the Kirk Memorial Church at Grahn and a supporter of the Brother Joe Mobley Crusades for Christ.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Dearl E. Mobley in 1986; 3 brothers, Harvey Bledsoe, Clarence Bledsoe and Everett Bledsoe; 2 sisters, Pearl Bledsoe and Celia Bledsoe Justice.

Her survivors include:

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Charles Davis, minister. Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens. Friends may call Saturday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Kings Daughters Medical Center and especially Dr. Henry Adkins.
