Loma, I just want you to know how sorry I am to hear about Homer. I can't go to the service or veiwing but I just want to let you know I hurt for you and for Tom. I know you must have loved him a lot and I think you are an amazing woman to have gone through all that you must have, and managed to smile all the while. Be strong and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I loved him too. Hilda

Tom, I am not able to get to the funeral home on this sad occasion but I am happy to have this type of communication afforded by the funeral home. I don't have to say, "I can only imagine what you're going through", I know first hand and I feel so sorry about it. I have loved your dad for years. I met him when I was 12 years old and went into the store with my mom. He knew her well and I remember when she told him I was her little girl. He said "she can't be she's older than you are". Of course I thought it was funny and my mother loved it. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers today and in the weeks to come. You are obviously a very strong man and will be fine, but it still will be very rough. Hilda

I have many good memories of Homer Womack and of seeing him at the hardware store. When I was little I thought his name was Homer Farmer because he owned Farmer's Hardware! He always had a smile whenever he caught my eye. My condolences to all family and friends, his loss will be felt by all. You are in my prayers.
