Lillian Rogers Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1936 - 2003 Lillian Ridgeway Rogers, age 67, of Raceland, KY, went to be with the Lord, Friday morning, August 22nd, 2003 in Our Lady Of Bellefonte Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born August 21, 1936, at Bruin, KY, a daughter of the late Wert Ridgeway and Mae Ridgeway Mullins. She was a homemaker, a member of the West Russell Christian Baptist church and attended the Skyline Christian Baptist Church. Preceding her in death was her husband, Donald Rogers in 1991 and 2 sisters, Ruby Ridgeway and Pauline Fryer. Her survivors include: 3 daughters: Tereasa Ann Meyers Summit, KY Leasa Gail Church Summit, KY Denise Lynn Baldridge Wurtland, KY 8 grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren 7 Sisters: Myrtle Falls Chicago, IL Nancy Ridgeway Russell, KY Betty Messer Grove City, OH Lottie Valance Cannonsburg, KY Phyllis Littleton Grayson, KY Mary Salyers OH Shirley Sammons Grayson, KY 1 brother: Henry Mullins Ashland, KY Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Delmar Rogers and Paul Proffitt, ministers. Burial will be in the Rogers Family Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home. Condolences can be made to the family at www.timeformemory.com/malone

Girls - please accept our deepest condolences at the loss of your mother. I have a lot of memories of your Mom & Dad - an old B&W photo taken at Papaw Rogers house in the early 1950's of them on a motorcycle - of the two singing and praising the Lord in church. I believe they have been reunited - they can't come back to us - but we can go to them.
