My dad was such a special man. I remember so many times when I was a small child, watching him work on the farm. It seemed like he would work from sun up till sun down, but he would find time to read his Bible at night. So many times when my sisters and I would be getting ready for bed, he would be there with the Bible open in his lap. He always found time for God. Many times while my sisters and I were out playing on the farm, we would hear him singing those old time Baptist songs. We would stop what we were doing for a few minutes and listen to him singing with joy in his heart. Dad was such an inspiration to three little girls. He was never a materialistic person, He always seemed to be happy with what he had. The things that meant most to him were God and family. So many times he would say that this life is just a dressing room where we get ready for the next. Thank you dad for helping me realize that Heaven is my true home. I look forward to meeting you there some glorious day, where we'll never have to part again. I love and miss you so very much. God truly blessed three little girls when He chose you for our dad.
