Thelma V. Tolliver Gumm, age 80, of Grayson, KY, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 16, 2003, in St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY following an extended illness.

She was born June 16th, 1923, at Davy’s Run, KY, a daughter of the late David and Sarah Pennington Tolliver.

She was a homemaker and was of the Protestant Faith.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Chester Gumm and 2 daughters, Phyllis Kiser and Cynthia Gumm.

Her survivors include:

6 sons:

Ray Gumm

Eddie Gumm both of Georgetown, KY

Roger Gumm

Robert Gumm

Timmy Gumm

Jr. Gumm all of Grayson

3 daughters:

Connie Damron

Bonnie Mullins

Betty Gumm all of Grayson

13 brothers and sisters

30 grandchildren

and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 19th, 2003 at 11:00am at the Malone Funeral Home with Tony Coile, minister. Burial will be in the Damron Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening, Nov. 18th, from 6-9pm and Wednesday after 9:00am until service time at the funeral home.

mamaw i still cant beleave you are gone..i miss you so much..i still cant bare to go in your house and look at that empty chair u loved to sit in..you will always be on my mind and in my heart untill i see you again i can only imagine. what it is like for you now you are in a great place..for you are our angel in heaven love and miss you very much april

Hello Betty & all the Gumm family I am so sorry to hear about your mother passing away. It sure is a hard thing to bear. I know because I just lost my mother - Rosa Blevins in July. Love & Prayers The Blevins Family
