
Opal Bays Adams, 94, of Willard went to be with her heavenly father Friday. She was born December 3, 1908 at Johns Run, a daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Green Bays. She was a 1928 graduate of CNI, the Christian Normal Institute, a retired postmaster from the Willard office and had been a member of the Willard Church of Christ for at least 75 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Milton R. Adams Sr. and one son Milton Adams Jr., a daughter in law Lucille McDavid Adams, one grandson William Raymond Adams, and four brothers, James Bays Jr., Leonard Bays, William Bays, and Tom Bays. Four sisters, Ethel Fleming, Edith Bowling, Flora Duncan and Wanda McCarley.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Willard Church of Christ by Mike Harper and a host of family. Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens.
