Opal Travis Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1913 - 2003 Opal Travis, age 90, of Grayson, KY, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 22nd, 2003, at her residence, following an extended illness. She was born October 2nd, 1913, at Denton, KY, a daughter of the late Ben and Gertie Davis. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian Faith. Preceding her in death was her husband, John Travis, and her brothers and sisters. Her survivors include: 1 daughter: Marilyn Hall Grayson, KY 1 son: Harland Travis Phœnix, AZ 1 brother : Carl Davis West Virginia 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 25th, 2003, at 1:00pm at the Hitchins Gospel Mission with Delmar Rogers and Edgar Rogers, ministers. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Friends may call Monday evening, November 24th, from 6-9pm at the Malone Funeral Home.
