Opal Ratcliff Howell, 93, of Denton went to be with the Lord Sunday December 7, after a brief illness. She was born June 24, 1910 in Carter Co. a daughter of the late William and Donna Ratcliff Ratcliff. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Howell and a son Donald Howell. She is survived by:

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home by the minister Gary Arrington. Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens. Friends may call Monday afternoon from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. Condolences may be sent to www.timeformemory.com/malone.
