Gladys Ellen Tackett Binion, age 92, of Grayson, KY went to be with the Lord, Tuesday morning, January 13th, 2004, at Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born February 22nd, 1911, at Grahn, KY, a daughter of the late Robert and Lina Carroll Tackett.

She was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert Binion and 2 daughters, Elizabeth Dorn of Olive Hill, KY and Virginia Galindo of Grayson.

Her survivors include:

2 daughters:

Dorothy W. Adkins

Roberta G. Parsons both of Grayson

3 sons:

William J. Binion

Franklin D. Binion

Robert C. Binion all of Grayson

21 Grandchildren

28 Great-Grandchildren

and 10 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 16th, 2004 at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Eury Barker, Lewis Baier, Owen Cox and Homer Bowling, ministers. Burial will be in the Carroll Cemetery in Olive Hill. Friends may call Thursday evening, Jan. 15th, from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

I am sorry to hear about Mrs. Binion. I worked at Carter Nursing when she first came there and she was the sweetest lady. I will always remember her. You are in my prayers. God Bless

To all we offer our sorrow at the physical loss of such a precious soul but we rejoice in knowing she is no longer elderly and frail but is once again young and with our Dear Lord,,we wiil miss her puttering around her yard and garden but just think what a glorious garden she has just outside her new home .God bless you all ..Dick and Bertie hay

My sympathy to all of you at this time. I remember Mrs. Binion when my late husband {Leslie "Slim" Hall} and I visited them many times during the illness of Mr. Binion.She was such a sweet person. May God bless you all
