I belive I when to East Carter High with Gary. Did he live in the house across the road, just below the High school? I have been away from Carter county many years. Sure hate to hear of his passing, Carla

Our thoughts and prayers go out to each of the Young & Keeton family. I grew up with the Young family. They are very much a part of my life. Our dad's worked together, and our families became very close. We hold each of the family up in prayers every day. Trust in the Lord and he will strengthen you and carry you through this time. I don't know if we ever met except at the wedding, but I will always remember Gary's sense of humor and his big smile. He was always good and kind to me. Words cannot express how I feel about this tragedy. May God help us all through this time and we can be together as a family in heaven someday. (Mick's widow)

I can not believe something like this could happen to a wonderful couple. They were great friends. Everytime I would come to visit Kentucky I would always get together with Gary. Words can not express how much he meant to mme as a friend and how much I will miss him and Cheryl. They will always be in my heart.

I remember Gary from back in the 70's when I was still in high school. He had a 1970 chevelle and I had a '72. At that time Gary lived across from East Carter. He was an awesome guy with an awesome car. We most recently worked the same jobs in boilermaking. I've heard so many people say good things about Gary and his wife and what wonderful people they were. Those things will never be forgotten. The entire community mourns their loss and many are praying for the family. The prayers of my family are also with you. May God keep and strengthen you as I know He is able. Jeff Bush

My purest and deepest sympathy to the family of Gary Young. I worked at Raider Mart for about three years and saw Gary every morning when he would come in and get his coffee. He always had a smile and something funny to say. He will be missed.
