Garland Wesley Fannin, age 88, of Rush, KY, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday morning, February 17th, 2004, at his daughter’s residence following a long illness.
He was born January 18th, 1916 in Carter County, KY, a son of the late Dewitt and Bessie Marie Conley Fannin.
He was formerly employed with T.B. Sanitorium in Ashland, KY and Clausing’s in Indiana and was a member of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Lillie “Bill” Tackett Fannin and a sister, Geneva Thornberry.
His survivors include:

Funeral services will be conducted Friday 2:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home with Ralph Hester and Mickey King, ministers. Burial will be in the Fannin Family Cemetery.
