Dear Virginia: Our deepest sympathies in the passing of Clifton recently. We have many fond memories of him. When he was living with my grandmother and grandfather here in Louisville, I was 6 or 7 years of age and I would watch him fix himself a piece of bread with butter and jelly and I would ask him if he would fix me one of those, because he made it so perfectly and so deliciously! My sister, Jo, saw the notice in the Lexington-Herald Leader. May God bless you with His wonderful love and comfort. In Christ, Terry Sammons

Dear Virgina and Susan, I was so very sad to hear of C.W.'s passing. I enjoyed working with him on many projects in the past. He was a wonderful, thoughtful person who was dedicated to his family. As Jeri said earlier, he lived for those grandsons. It wasn't too long ago I was in your shoes. You are all in my prayers.

Susan and Mrs. Stevens, I just wanted to send my condolences. The last time I saw Mr. Stevens was at an East Carter Middle School basketball game this year. He had his radio with him and was listening to the Cats! It was obvious in talking with him that he adored his boys. Jina and I talked to him about his flower garden "talent". Mr. Stevens was a good man and I know you have many many good memories of him. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
