On May 1st, 2004 at 5:55 a.m. Belva Kitchen Sturgill, 94, was reunited with her loved ones. She will be missed dearly by those left behind, who one day, will join her in glory. She was born September 3, 1909 in Grayson a daughter of the late Dave and Jane Stevens Fultz. She was the oldest living member of the Mt. Chapel United Baptist Church and retired Postmaster at Beetle for 30 years. Belva was preceded in death by two husbands Dearl Kitchen and Henry Sturgill. She is survived by:

Funeral services will be conducted Monday 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Chapel United Baptist Church by J.D. Riggs, Eury Barker, and Terry Sexton. Burial will be in the Kitchen Family Cemetery at Beetle.
