Opal Campbell Newland Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1932 - 2004 Opal Faye Campbell Newland, age 71, of Grayson, KY died Thursday morning, May 27th, 2004 in the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. She was born November 15, 1932, at Cherokee in Lawrence County, KY, a daughter of the late Millard and Cora Adams Campbell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pactolus United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death was a grandson, Kenneth Lee Bradford; her sisters, Elsie Suttles and Pauline Suttles and infant sisters, Della and Emma Campbell, Nellie Campbell and Myrtle Louise Campbell; her brothers, Luther Campbell and Leroy Campbell and an infant brother, Leonard Campbell. Her survivors include: Her husband of 53 years: John C. Newland Grayson 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law: Linda and Bob Leadingham Grayson Jeannie and George Martin Grayson Brenda and Nick Bradford Leslie, Michigan 2 sons and 2 daughters-in-law: Johnny and Carolyn Colegrove Newland Crane Creek Phillip and Jackie Bradford Newland Crane Creek Grandchildren: John Leadingham Grayson Roberta Leadingham Grayson Bruce Martin Winchester, KY Rob Martin Grayson Lorie Sue Conley Isonville, KY April Estepp Olive Hill, KY Misty Branham Hitchins, KY Joshua Bradford Leslie, Michigan Richie Bradford Leslie, Michigan Jeremy Newland Lansing, Michigan Step-Grandchild: Rene Huff Grayson Great-grandchildren: Joshua Leadingham Grayson Jacob Leadingham Grayson Kaila Martin Winchester Levi Martin Winchester Jayda Martin Greenup, KY Anna Estepp Eric Estepp Austin Estepp all of Olive Hill Mandy Conley Jamie Conley both of Isonville Chase Branham Grayson Step-great-grandchildren: Ashley Sexton Shelby Artis both of Grayson 1 sister: Lila Spillman Flatwoods, KY 2 brothers: Walter Campbell Grayson Ray Campbell Webbville, KY Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 30th, 2004, at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with John Dean and Tom Riffe, ministers. Burial will be in the Kemper Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday evening, may 29th, 2004 from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
