David Everett Adkins, 61, of Grayson formally of Frankfort OH, died Sunday in Hospice Care Center in Ashland following a long illness. He was born November 30, 1942 in Boyd Co. a son of the late Everett and Laura Scott Adkins. He was retired from Lenox Heating in the fabricating department and a member of the Princess Chapel Church. A sister, Francis Brown and two brothers Ronald and Billy Adkins preceded him in death. His survivors include:

2 Grandchildren:

Ciera Dawn Adkins both of West Lafayette OH

2 Brothers and a sister in law:

3 Sisters and 2 brothers in laws:

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Princess Chapel Church by the minister Clell Lucas. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Charles E. Brown, George L. Brown Jr., Shannon Brown, Mark Adkins, Leo Rice, and Michael Brown. Visitation will be at the Malone Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6-9, and after 10:00 a.m. at the Princess Chapel until funeral service. I'm sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Dad (Clay) was very upset and says he's lost a very good friend. I'm appreciative of the friendship that Dave extended to Dad, friends of such a nature are few.... Respectfully, Pamela Lucas Downs
