
George Otto Steele, 90 of Grayson went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 3, 2004 after a long illness. He was born August 11, 1914 in Carter Co. KY a son of the late Julia Belle Steele. He was a retired farmer and carpenter, a member of the Barretts Creek Baptist Church for the past 25 years, where he had done great works for the Lord. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Belle Newland Steele. His other survivors include:

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at the Barretts Creek Baptist Church by the ministers Brian Bush and Lowell Elliott. Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the church Monday from 2-8 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. Malone Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
