Donnie “OJ” Scott Leonard, 49, of Hitchins passed away Saturday at his residence following a long illness. OJ was born August 10, 1955 in Abington VA, a son of the late Don and Lois Glover Leonard. He was a member of the Brothers of the Wheel N Eastern KY division where he was acting secretary/treasurer for past 3 years, a member of the AMA and KMA where he severed sergeant-n-arms for 5 years, American Legion Post 76 Ashland KY, and Order of Eagles 2329 of Ashland. He served in the US Army from 1972 until 1975. His wife Carrie Ison Leonard survives him. His other survivors include:

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ison Family Cemetery in Fultz. Friends may call from 6-9 Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Malone Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to http://www.timeformemory.com/malone.

I was really sad to hear that OJ had passed away. We worked together at the Lowes Store in Ashland. OJ was always smiling and having a good time. I'm sure he will be missed
