Dear Janet, I was extremely sorry to learn that you had lost Howard. I'm not certain that I knew him before you bought our house in Grayson, but he was always unfailingly kind to me. We loved the improvements you made in the house, and you and Howard were so accomodating to let us visit the house on occasion and reminisce. I last saw him at Ernie Womack's funeral. He was a fine man, and he will be greatly missed.
