Dorothy Elizabeth Bayes Riggle, 85, went to be with the Lord on Friday in Carter Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born December 1, 1918 at Johns Run a daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Green Bayes. She was a homemaker, a member of the Willard Church of Christ, and served one year in the WAC. She was preceded in death by a son Victor Bert Riggle in 1965, four brothers; James, Leonard, William, and Tom Bayes, five sisters; Ethel Fleming, Edith Bowling, Opal Adams, Flora Duncan, and Wanda McCarley. Funeral services will be conducted Monday 1:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home by the minister Bill Bush. Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens.
