1921 - 2004

Carl G. Everman, age 83, of Grayson, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 30th, 2004 in Chillocothe Ohio Veterans Hospital after an extended illness.

Mr. Everman was born August 10, 1921, at Iron Hill in Carter County, KY., the oldest child of the late Truman and Bessie Craycraft Everman.

He was a member of the Grace Bible Church, worked for the Carter County School Board as a Maintenance Supervisor and was a WWII Army Veteran.

He was a farmer, carpenter, inventor, and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local #472 of Ashland, KY for 50 years. His hobbies were painting and writing poems and short stories.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Dorr C. Everman and 6 other brothers, Wesley, Jay, Harlan, Wayne, Tommy and Archie Everman.

His survivors include:

Sharon and James Chaffins all of Grayson, KY

23 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren,

20 great-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 3rd at 11:00am at the Malone Funeral Home with George Boggs, minister. Burial will be in the Huffman Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-9pm and Friday after 9:00am until service time at the funeral home.
