Orlene Jordan Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1929 - 2005 Orlene Jordan, 75, of Grayson went to be with the Lord on Saturday in Ashland Community Hospice Center. She was born April 10, 1929 in Carter Co. a daughter of the late Royal and Verna Evans Connelly. She was a member of the Evermans Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two sons Joseph Martin and Shannon Leigh Jordan and one sister Edith Rhule. She is survived by: Her husband of 54 years: Bennie Jordan 3 Sons: Kendall and Paula Jordan Lewisburg TN Carroll and Janet Jordan Kevin and Melissa Jordan both of Grayson KY 2 Daughters: Kathryn and Henry Finley Benita and Lonnie Jordan both of Grayson 2 Brothers: Carl Connelly Grayson Edmond Connelly Fairfield Glades TN 1 Sister: Donna Stephens Grayson A special niece: Barbara Hall Grayson 14 GC and 10 GGC Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Evermans Creek Missionary Baptist Church by Dr. Harry Thacker. Burial will be in the Connelly Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 Monday at the Malone Funeral Home. Condolences can be sent at www.timeformemory.com/malone.

I was so sad to hear of Mrs. Jordan's death but know from spending time around her and her family that she is rejoicing with angels. I will always have fond memories of my younger years in her home and the special way she always made me and my family feel at home. My love and prayers are with her children and other loved ones who will miss her and her sweet presence. May God place His arms of love around each of you at this time of sadness.
