Florence Adkins Simmons, age 86, of Grayson, KY, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, May 16th, 2005 with her family at her side.
Mrs. Simmons was born May 29th, 1918 at Carter County, KY, a daughter of the late George and Rebecca Justice Adkins.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Gilbert Chapel Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James Edgar Simmons; a son-in-law, Glenn Adkins in 1988, and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 18th, 2005 at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Ernest Bush and Paul Miller, ministers. Burial will be in the Adkins Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, May 17th, from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include her grandsons and special friends of Granny, Dale Meenach and Justin Roberts.
