Robert Eugene Bowling Sr., beloved husband and father, age 75, of Grayson, KY, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, July 24th, 2005, at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.
Mr. Bowling was born July 26th, 1929, at Van Lear, KY, a son of the late Vernon and Mary Edith Bays Bowling.
He was a Boilermaker with Local #667 and a Coal Truck Driver. He was a member of the Pactolus United Methodist Church, an avid lover of his church, family and bluegrass music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Preston and step-mother, Irene Bowling.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 27th, 2005 at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Tom Riffe, John Dean and John Sergent, ministers. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
