
Alva Sutton, 74, of Lost Creek in Greenup went to be with the Lord on Sunday in Our of Lady Bellefonte Hospital. He was born June 5, 1931 a son of the late Alva and Ethel Kibbey Sutton Montgomery. He was a self-employed saw mill operator, a KY Colonel, of Baptist faith and an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by twin daughters Teresa Gail and Terri Jo Sutton. Also preceding him was a sister Maxine Potter, two brothers, Tom and Raymond Montgomery. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Stephens Sutton. His other survivors include:

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday 2:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home by the ministers Charles Lybrook and Michael Wilder. Burial will be in the Riffe Family Cemetery.
