Carla Coburn Bays, age 57, of Oldtown, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 12th, 2006, at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born August 23rd, 1948, at Ashland, KY, a daughter of Nina Marie Conley Coburn Flaugher of Grayson, KY and the late James Robert Coburn. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Greg Coburn in 2005.
Carla was the Proprietor of High Tech Sales, former owner of Grayson Sewing Center and a 20 year employee of Dr. Shufflebarger. She was a member of the Hopewell Methodist Church, former board member of Northeast Area Development and a member of the Greenup County Tax Assessment Board.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 15th, 2006, at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Chris Bellew, minister. Burial will be in the Hall-Coburn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, January 14th, from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
