Lunda Wells, age 90, of Grayson, Ky., died Monday evening, Dec. 30, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born Sept. 23, 1912, in Grayson, a son of the late Merdie and Martha White Wells.
He was a retired farmer and was of the Christian faith.
His wife, Lois Glass Wells, preceded him in death in 1999.
His survivors include two sons, Marion Wells of Grayson and Freddie Wells of Ashland; a daughter, Sue Hillman of South Point, Ohio; a sister, Georgia Counts of Grayson; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Mike Harper, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Grayson Memorial Burial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight and after 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
