Marie Bentley Lowe, 67, of Grayson, Ky., died Thursday, Jan. 16, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital following a long illness.

She was born Nov. 26, 1935, in Springfield, Ohio, a daughter of Tina Holbrook Bentley of Grayson and the late Oakley Bentley Sr.

She was a member of Barretts Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Eastern Star Chapter #10, and Trinity Hall.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Young, in 1987; and a sister, Joy Potter.

Her survivors include her husband, Joe Lowe of Grayson; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Young of Olive Hill, Ky., and Gary and his wife Cheryl Young, and David Young, all of Grayson; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Barry Blevins of Flatwoods, Ky.; two stepchildren and their spouses, Carol Jo and Phillip Keyes of Largo, Fla., and David and Jane Lowe of Lexington, Ky.; two brothers, Carl Bentley of Grayson and Oakley Bentley Jr. of Evansville, Ind.; two grandchildren, Andrew Young and Barrett Richard Blevins; and four stepgrandchildren, Joshua Conley, Carrie Conley, Noah Keyes and Madison Lowe.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Walter Wilcox, minister. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight and after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
