Violet Gilliam Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1920 - 2003 Violet Owens Gilliam, 83, of Grayson died Saturday in Kings Daughters Medical Center following a long illness. She was born January 6, 1920 in Smokey Vallley, KY a daughter of the late Charlie and Daisy Kiser Owens. She was a homemaker and of Christian faith. She is survived by: 5 Daughters: Dottie Collier Olive Hill KY Edna Faye Williams Mansfield OH Betty Sue Boggs Ruth Dickerson Joyce Shirkey all of Grayson KY 1 Son: Carl Gilliam Mansfield OH Grandson whom she raised: Rick Heaberlin Grayson 16 GC, 28 GGC, 1 GGG Granddaughter Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Malone Funeral Home by the minister Lewis Davis. Burial will be in the East Carter Co. Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6-9 Monday at the funeral home and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until funeral service. My heart felt sympathy and prayers for the loss of your mother. I miss my own more than words could ever express. However, it is a blessed assurance to KNOW that we will see them again. They have finished the race as we will be sure to follow. I pray for the comfort of the Holy Spirit to lead, protect and and guide all of Violet's family. She was and is loved!!!
