James Clifford “J.C.” Yongue, age 6, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born July 21, 1996, in Portsmouth, the son of Jon C. and Phyllis D. Jones Yongue of Beechy Road in South Shore, Ky.
Additional survivors include his paternal grandmother, Mona Lee Yongue of Beechy; his maternal grandparents, Mark and Anna Lee Jones of Load, Ky.; his maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Jones of Grayson, Ky.; six uncles, Mark D. (Orpha) Jones of Somerset, Ky., Patrick (Tina) Yongue of Siloam, Ky., Phillip (Theresa) Yongue of Flatwoods, Ky., Darrell (Jacinda) Yongue of Ashland, Ky., James (Rachael) Yongue of Conley Springs, N.C., and Wayne (Ginger) Yongue of Gaston, S.C.; and six aunts, Carol (Clifford) Salmons of Load, Jennifer (Tim) Collins of South Shore, Ruth (Joe) Sizemore of Greenup, Ky., Sue (Chris) Yongue of Catlettsburg, Ky., Kim Moore of Wurtland, Ky., and Barbara Avery of Columbia, S.C.
His paternal grandfather, James H. Yongue, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup by Dr. Gregory Hudson and Glen Newsome, preachers.
Burial will be in the Harris-Webb Cemetery at Load.
