Donna Fern Ring age 71 of Belding died at her home on Friday evening April 22, 2005.
She was born in Rockford on July 30, 1933 the daughter of Theo and Fern Holliday Allison. On May 30, 1953 she married Ralph J. ‘Buck’ Ring in Belding. She was a graduate of Belding High School in 1952 and after high school worked for Dr. Pates in Belding and later worked for General Motors Fisher Body Division in Grand Rapids.
She attended Shiloh Community Church, loved to travel, garden, especially with flowers, enjoyed Belding Sports and meeting people and talking with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband ‘Buck’ on May 31, 2000.
Surviving are her son Randy Ring, her sisters and Brother, Lela Deal, Lorna and Don Van Wagoner and Dewey and Elaine Allison all of Belding and Eleanor and Frank Cunningham of Ocklahawa, Florida, a special niece and her husband, Julia and Dan Brimmer of Greenville, special friends, Pat Wright, Jane Mayes, Diane Klein, Donna Bobier, Howard Colley, Gwen Stanton, Arlene McMillan, Kathi Kohn and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday April 27, 2005 at 11 AM from Shiloh Community Church with Rev. Ken Harger officiating. Private burial will follow at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to Shiloh Community Church or Hospice of Michigan.
